about SHAISHOT

Hi there! I'm Shaina, aka, SHAISHOT. Fun story about my artist origins, I started off on deviantArt, and went under the fantastic username SHAISHOT. The funny thing was, unlike most people who pronounce SHAISHOT as (shai-shot) I had planned for it to be like (SHAIS-HOT) .. which fed my narcississm to a degree, but I prefer the adopted handle more than my original 15 yr-old plans and accepted it down the road.

There is nothing special about me, I like to humanize myself just like any other person out there. Admittedly, I am all about equality. I remember how intimidating it was to commission my first ever piece from an artist and I believe I want to break that barrier between the relationship as an artist to a client. It's more of a personal goal to make the flow or connection as natural as possible.

I'm like any 21 year old out there, there's nothing setting me apart than the ability to put my ideas onto a digital canvas while others do stick figures. But what I like about art is the journey, I just love to interpret illustrations and feel for characters in it. There's a lot to be explored in a person's creative realm and I feel it's actually great to persevere through the hard times of actually GAINING the knowledge of anatomy/flow/feel of drawing as a youth, most don't make it through.

Art is a passion, there's no denying that for me, and among my interests, fashion is another one of those things. See you on the flipside of the canvas.
